ANJU DODIYA
Anju Dodiya, born 1964 in Mumbai, attained a degree in Painting (BFA) at the Sir J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai. She has had solo exhibitions with Gallery Chemould, Mumbai and Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi. Her most recent solo was a site-specific installation Throne of Frost, held at the Laxmi Vilas Palace in Baroda, organized by Bodhi Art. Participations include The Artist Lives and Works, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, 2005, After Dark curated by Gayatri Sinha for Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai, 2004, Inside the Whale, Gasser & Grunert Inc., New York, 2003, and ARS 01, Unfolding Perspectives, Museum of Contemporary Art KIASMA, Helsinki, 2001. Anju Dodiya lives in Mumbai.
